QCPU teachers are paid by Mathay

I refused the invitation of the faculty members and students of the Quezon City Polytechnic University (QCPU) because it was a set up made by Mathay's men. I instructed my emissaries to leave the venue after the arrival of Mel Mathay and Mike Defensor who are both seeking the mayoralty of Quezon City. The situation calls for me to back-out from the anticipated debate. Defensor and Mathay are known allies may gang up on me. The teachers of QCPU cannot be trusted as well- they have been paid to organize the event by Mathay.

So what if I disappoint the students and faculty members who are looking forward to the to evaluate each candidate’s programs of governance especially the major issues confronting today’s state of education. I know I will be at a disadvantage at the questions that will be thrown by the teachers and students . They were meant to scrutinize and discern the nuances and issues of my programs and platform and go into corruption issues. Definitely the school would side with Mathay and leave me at a disadvantage!

  1. I have to say that you are such a disappointment.

  3. Fora or debates are meant "to scrutinize and discern the nuances and issues" concerning the platforms of ANY individual running for public office. It is the job of the candidates to defend their programs and persuade the audience, who may have biases against the aspirant.

With all due respect, the excuse was such an easy way out. You owe it upon the residents of QC - supporter, critics,or simply apolitical - to address the issues disregarding the political orientation of the audience or the organizers.

  4. The teachers maybe biased, I'll give that to you. But you cant say the same for the students of QCPU who are in need TO VENT OUT their needs to the government. And to think you're all for the youth. Did you even manage to get to your position without people criticizing you left and right?

DON'T RUIN AN APOLOGY WITH AN EXCUSE. AT LEAST IF IT'S THAT LAME.

  6. what you should do bistek even if it is organized by your political opponents is just show up! you never attend any forums and you keep on hiding behind SB's accomplishments... you call the teachers biased? maybe its because you haven't done anything for them to gain their loyalty in the past 9 years or so.

forums are eye openers, a venue to express your so called thoughts...mabuti pa si susano di nahiya umattend kahit na lumabas syang kahiyahiya sa dun sa isang forum!
